Case Study
During a scheduled service visit a Dale engineer discovered remedial work was required on the E800 Series UPS which provides back up power to a psychiatric hospital in the West Midlands.
Instead of hiring a generator to provide backup power, work was carried out during a planned power down at the site as this was more cost effective for the client.
Whilst preparing for the planned work, discussion with the client highlighted a further need for back up power at a sister site.
Dale engineers surveyed the site and developed a disaster recovery plan to quickly install a hire set should the sister site lose power.
Remedial work was carried out on the E83320B8 UPS sited at the psychiatric hospital during a scheduled power down.
The sister site is regularly surveyed and any updates made to the plan.
